In 6th grade science we learn about all kinds of things. We start with weather and climate, from how our earth heats to climate change we learn how our earth is changing over time. Next we learn about plate tectonics, why they are shifting and how they are causing volcanoes and earthquakes. From there we move in to researching the sun-earth-moon system. Finally we end the year with exploring planetary systems. We will go over moon phases, eclipses, constellations, planets and rockets. We will take a blast from the past and even explore Pluto. Sixth grade science is all about hands on actions. We will be diving in and getting our hands dirty all along the way!
