Bio:

I am excitedly starting my thirteenth year as a Learning Specialist (Self-Contained Special Education Teacher) here at Tarrant High School. I am a native of Birmingham and a product of Birmingham City Schools. My past teaching experiences have included 6 years in the middle school setting, 4 years in the high school setting, and 2 years in a private residential behavior facility. Five years of my teaching experience has been in a self-contained classroom setting. 

I love shopping, reading, and hanging with my family and friends. I have a beautiful 6 year old daughter who is my WORLD.
